The Tour
DAY 1 ARRIVE DELHI
On arrival stay at the Aman New Delhi hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy a complimentary reflexology treatment at the hotel spa.


DAY 2 DELHI
Late morning explore the myriad sights of Old and New Delhi including a short cycle rickshaw ride. The wide boulevards of Lutyens' New Delhi contrast dramatically with the narrow streets and scattered monuments that dominate Old Delhi. An evening guided walk through Lodhi Garden is followed by tea and a spa at your hotel.

DAY 3 DELHI – AGRA - JAISINGHPURA – AJABGARH
After breakfast transfer to Delhi’s domestic airport to board the Greaves private plane for Agra where, upon arrival, there is plenty of time to visit the enchanting Taj Mahal monument. Later, board the private plane and road to Ajabgarh and stay at the Amanbagh hotel. Enjoy a head or foot massage at the hotel spa.

DAY 4 AJABGARH Your choice of activities today. Either take an early morning excursion by jeep to Bhangarh, the abandoned City of Ghosts, for Yoga and breakfast; or an afternoon village tour of the Ajabgarh Valley by either camel cart or open jeep. The head and foot massage at the hotel spa is the perfect way to end the day.
  DAY 5 AJABGARH - JAISINGHPURA - SAWAI MADHOPUR - RANTHAMBORE
After a leisurely start, transfer by road to Jaisinghpura airstrip to board the Greaves private plane for Sawai Madhopur. On arrival transfer by road to Ranthambore and stay at the Aman-I-Khas Hotel. Travel by camel safari this evening to explore the outskirts of the park and rural villages.

DAY 6 RANTHAMBORE
Morning and afternoon game viewing in Ranthambore National Park by Jeep or deluxe canter. This evening’s private dinner is by the step-well within the camp.

DAY 7 RANTHAMBORE - SAWAI MADHOPUR - DELHI
Return to Delhi by early morning train, with butler service on board. Arrive Delhi and transfer to the Aman New Delhi hotel for an afternoon at leisure. Late evening transfer to the airport.

DAY 8 DEPART DELHI
Early morning departure for onward destination.

Seasons: Please note, Ranthambore National Park is closed annually from 01st July through 30th September.

  • Accommodations at the Aman New Delhi, Amanbagh, and Aman-I-Khas in Ranthambore (in one double/twin room and daily breakfast)
  • Private plane charter on Super King Air B200 (registered VT-RSB) for all internal India segments: Delhi – Agra; Agra – Jaisinghpura; Jaisinghpura – Sawai Madhopur; and Sawai Madhopur – Delhi
  • Exploration of the narrow streets and historic monuments of Old Delhi and the wide boulevards of New Delhi, including a short cycle rickshaw ride
  • Sightseeing at the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the seven new wonders of the world
  • Early morning excursion by jeep to the mysterious and uninhabited city of Bhangarh for yoga and an afternoon ‘Cow Dust’ tour (so named because the city is unoccupied)
  • Morning and afternoon game viewings (a total of three over two days) in Ranthambore National Park by shared jeep or a 20-seater canter if jeeps aren’t available
  • Transfers, sightseeing and excursions per the specific program using private air-conditioned vehicles with driver in a Toyota Innova or similar superior car
  • Services of knowledgeable, English-speaking local guides in each city, who are well-versed in the history, customs and language of each region.
  • Entrance fees and video and still-camera fees at monuments
  • Porterage at hotels, airports and train stations
Conditions:
The private plane is subject to availability and the package price is subject to fuel surcharges and taxes levied by the Indian Government.
Prices exclude Indian visa fee; meals except where noted on the itinerary; any personal items such as telephone, laundry, gratuities, travel insurance, and any other charges travelers may choose to make during the trip.
